RHAC Achieve 100% Score in England Athletics’ Club Standards

13th September 2024

We are delighted to announce that Rochdale Harriers & A.C. has achieved a 100% score in England Athletics’ Club Standards. These Standards required the Club to work through seven key areas, training members in roles such as Safeguarding, Welfare, Health & Safety, ensuring all coaches, leaders and assistants get the training they need and are DBS-checked through EA. We have put in place many policies and procedures required to run a Club safely, efficiently and effectively. Meeting these Standards means our Club is better-run and is a safer place to train. Additionally, we are now entitled to apply for grants from EA’s Club Improvement Fund which, if successful, we can use towards training additional coaches etc.. Our thanks go out to everyone who helped with this process.
