Rochdale Three Day Event Results, 2026

14th June 2026

Martha Barker of Saddleworth, setting a new Ladies Course Record of 39:04 on the Norden 6 Mile Road Race (previous record was Rochdale’s Carly Needham, 39:20, in 2006).

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the Rochdale Three Day Event, 2026, including all runners, marshals, time keepers etc. and especially Race Directors Nick Barton and Eric Taylor.

2026 saw Dom Carter (York Postal) achieve a hat trick of three wins in three consecutive years. Meanwhile Martha Barker (Saddleworth Runners) broke the 20-year-old record for the Norden Road Race to set a new ladies race record of 39:04. Then Martha went on to win the next two days and the overall TDE for the ladies. In the team event, Rochdale Harriers won both the ladies team prize (Kay Welsby, Jennie Ransome and Ruth Fearn) and the men’s team prize (Dave Parton, Martin Colley and Ian Dale). Colin would have been proud of you.

Our next race is the Rochdale 10K on Tuesday, 7th July. We would love to see you there.
