Dave Parton Appointed as Men’s Captain

Following several years as Men’s Captain, Kevin Holland has decided to step-down from this role. Our many thanks go out to Kevin for his contribution to the Men’s section over the past few years.

At the Committee Meeting on 21st September 2026, Dave Parton was appointed as our new Men’s Captain with immediate effect. Many of our members will know Dave from his participation in Tuesday track sessions. Dave particularly enjoys fell running, where he excels, and he has won the RHAC Fell Championships for quite a few years in a row. In addition, Dave regularly represents RHAC in other running disciplines such as Cross Country and Road Relays. This broad representation, plus leading by example, makes Dave a great candidate for the Captain role. We look forward to a bright future with Dave at the helm of the Senior Men’s section.
