Harriers do the Manchester 24 Hour Run Against Homelessness

*** LIVE NEWS *** Julie Smith, Nick Barton and Abdul Waduz (all EA-qualified LiRFs/Coaches) have been running in support of The Manchester 24 Hour Run Against Homelessness. This is a group relay event that sees runners and walkers complete 5km laps through the city in aid of the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity. It began at midday on Wednesday 12 November and is still ongoing, until midday today, Thursday 13 November.

Julie ran an incredible 7 laps (35K in total), Nick two and Abdul joined Julie for her final lap.

The Manchester-based charity’s initiative, A Bed Every Night, provides a bed and vital personal support for people facing a night on the streets of Greater Manchester.
